20 The children whom thou shalt have, after thou hast lost the first, shall again in thine ears say: The place is too strait for me; give place to me that I may dwell.
21 Then shalt thou say in thine heart: Who hath begotten me these, seeing I have lost my children, and am desolate, a captive, and removing to and fro? And who hath brought up these? Behold, I was left alone; these, where have they been?
23 And kings shall be thy nursing fathers, and their queens thy nursing mothers; they shall bow down to thee with their face towards the earth, and lick up the dust of thy feet; and thou shalt know that I am the Lord; for they shall not be ashamed that wait for me.
24 For shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captives delivered?
25 But thus saith the Lord, even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered; for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children.
This is the most beautiful thing I've ever heard.
I love paying attention to all the "and's" when the Lord describes His blessings. He is abundant with His "and's"!
He gives. AND then He gives some more. AND then He gives some more. I know that I can't even comprehend all that the Father has in store for us.
I love glimpses of eternal blessings, in the blessings that He gives to us in this life, "good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over. I can't even imagine how wonderful the next life will be. Because HE is so good!
I love how the wonderful God I worship opens the windows of heaven and pours out blessings that there is not even room enough to receive.
"And" is one of my favorite words that God uses. It teaches me more AND more about Him.
