23 And it came to pass that I beheld, after they had dwindled in unbelief they became a dark, and loathsome, and a filthy people, full of idleness and all manner of abominations.

To me, the vision of Lehi and Nephi is so sad!


Lehi sees his precious children choose to wander and be lost.


Nephi sees descendants that are entirely killed off, by none other than descendants of his own brothers.


They all turn into loathsome, filthy, idle people! This is all absolutely heartbreaking.


Yet I believe they both hoped in the vision- because of the Tree. That (He) alone must give me hope, too.


It's true isn't it?


Then what else matters.
