19 And I, Nephi, beheld that the Gentiles that had gone out of captivity were delivered by the power of God out of the hands of all other nations.

I love it when I read the words," they were delivered by the power of God..."


I always seem to notice, and am drawn to, that word - "deliver."


To me, that's not only what the whole Book of Mormon is about, but what life is all about.


We can so easily find ourselves held captive by sin, temptation, addictions, weakness and desires that we are in constant need of deliverance from. At least I am!


I'm SO grateful for the knowledge that we can constantly repent, and are always promised deliverance, if we obey, by our Deliverer.


I love that word.
