8 And it came to pass after we had all gone down into the ship, and had taken with us our provisions and things which had been commanded us, we did put forth into the sea and were driven forth before the wind towards the promised land.

Man I love verse 8!


They had complete faith in God and in His boat.


As soon as they "put forth into the sea" they were immediately driven by the wind (God) toward the promised land (a better life.)


I know this has a life lesson (a deep one) for me in there somewhere.

  1. Act with in faith in God.

  2. Allow God to take over and blow me (which will cause waves, tumbling and possibly some seasickness) to a better, blessed, place.

Lesson for me - Believe and act, then let God act.


I know He will.

“Let God prevail!” Is what it says to me especially after your comments. Look at our world today! Our Prophets have been preparing us for quite some time now! He has tried to prepare us for a better life!
