2 Therefore let us go up; let us be a strong like unto Moses; for he truly spake unto the waters of the Red Sea and they divided hither and thither, and our fathers came through, out of captivity, on dry ground, and the armies of Pharaoh did follow and were drowned in the waters of the Red Sea.

I love that Nephi draws strengths from the example of those that have gone before him in scripture, namely Moses.

Just like we do, namely - with Nephi.

I wonder who Moses drew strength from? What scriptures did he have? Did he draw strength from Adam, Enoch and Noah? Did he have the record of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Joseph?

How did someone get the holy scriptures prior to their publication? Were they hand copied? Who had access to them? Were the stories handed down verbally through the generations?

I ESPECIALLY wonder what the worship of Jehovah was like before He was born. To me, THAT is faith! Trusting in a Savior who had not yet been born, nor completed His Atonement. The faith of Nephi, Moses, and all the faithful people in the scriptures is priceless to me. I CLING to and LOVE their beautiful faith in the preborn Messiah.

I feel so blessed to have the holy records, with access at all times, in a shareable format, with the testimonies of ALL the holy prophets, to help me and my family in these last days.
