12 Yea, and how is it that ye have forgotten that the Lord is able to do all things according to his will, for the children of men, if it so be that they exercise faith in him? Wherefore, let us be faithful to him.

Here is "The Lord is able" again. Nephi really believes this to his core. He knows, he really knows, from remembering past experiences and believing/exercising faith, that the Lord is able to do all things- if faith in Him is exercised.

What does that mean for me? Everything! EVERY thing. In fact, this I've learned, it's not about the thing, it's about the faith. That alone has helped me with every little struggle (and big struggle.)

I've learned that it's not so much about desired outcomes as it is in trusting in God's outcomes.

I'm going to remember "The Lord is able" today.

I'm not able to do so much, but the Lord has promised to come and help when I simply ask, trust and obey. I can do that.

Nephi reminds them what they had forgotten, which was to build and strengthen their faith in God and what He would do for them in return....

...what have I forgotten that would build and strengthen my faith in God?

I will make a point to remember past spiritual experiences today and articulate what I know to be true to God in prayer, and in deep gratitude. I will remember (on purpose) 5 things today and summarize what I know to be true because of them.

I am hopeful I can say, feel and know to my core the same testimony as Nephi, - "the Lord is able."

I don't have to know what to do, to do it. I can trust God and more forward in faith.
