2 And he spake unto them concerning their rebellions upon the waters, and the mercies of God in sparing their lives, that they were not swallowed up in the sea.
I can't help but wonder how Laman and Lemuel are receiving Nephi and Lehi's words.
Are they still in a humble place? (Because I know what's going to happen next!)
Do they know Lehi is dying? Probably. Are these his last words to his family? (Do they know that?)
I also love the similarities between God-made boats (Jaredites, Noah, Nephites) and how none of them were swallowed up in the sea, because of faith and repentance.
Many personal, important lessons here, if I let my mind ponder on them.
What blessing do I enjoy that is "God-made"? Do I fear with regard to it? April - remember God doesn't let His true followers perish in His boats.
They float. :)
