8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then I said: Here am I; send me.
It's interesting that the Lord asked the same question that the Father asked Him.
And Isaiah gave the same answer that He did.
Why? What is the significance of this?
I also love seeing the difference in Isaiah after he had been purged of his sin. And that it was a live, hot coal that did the purging. Am I willing to go through the discomfort, pain and sacrifice to become purged from my sins, so I can go from "Wo is me! For I am undone." to "Here am I. Send me." (in just 3 or 4 verses)?
His change of heart was total and quick. I believe it can be for all of us, too.
