3 And it shall come to pass in that day that the Lord shall give thee rest, from thy sorrow, and from thy fear, and from the hard bondage wherein thou wast made to serve.
Interesting to learn about the word, "rest." Rest from sorrow, fear, and bondage- that is emotional, mental and physical.
Then in verse 7 "the whole earth is at rest "and in quiet."
Interesting.
All will be at rest -and "be quiet."
That's a nice thought.
I wonder if this is what the prophet meant by "be still," and what Jesus meant by "Peace I leave with you. My peace I give unto you."
And I love how the next step was to break forth into singing.
Much to ponder today.
