17 And the Lord will set his hand again the second time to restore his people from their lost and fallen state. Wherefore, he will proceed to do a marvelous work and a wonder among the children of men.

I love the thought of restoring "people."


Isn't that the whole purpose of the restoration of the gospel? To restore families?


I also love the thought of God's work and glory being- people. Me. My family. People are His work.


Today I'll make an effort to remember that all my work should be about people and helping them. I'm not sure where I should fit into that picture, I'm sure I'm in there somewhere, I'll pray about that. (I love resting my hands on the pages as I read, and just carrying the book with me- because the words written in them are- so- ... everything, powerful, important, I'm so grateful for the written word of God and my ability to read them.)
