8 Wherefore, they are of worth unto the children of men, and he that supposeth that they are not, unto them will I speak particularly, and confine the words unto mine own people; for I know that they shall be of great worth unto them in the last days; for in that day shall they understand them; wherefore, for their good have I written them.

So, Nephi wrote the words of Isaiah (a lot of them) for us in the last days, because they would profit us.

Honestly, I don't know how much profit I'm getting from them but I do love them and read Isaiah every day at lunch. I LOVE THE WORDS OF ISAIAH. They are like music to my ears/heart, but I don't think it's helping me as much as it should. I'm just reading (or listening) and loving, but not really pondering or applying.

I'll pray about that today and study and REALLY ponder Isaiah as I go throughout my day.

I don't want all of Nephi's hard work and inspiration for us (me) to go unreceived.

I know there are great blessings there for my taking if I just search for and receive them.
