17 But behold, if the inhabitants of the earth shall repent of their wickedness and abominations they shall not be destroyed, saith the Lord of Hosts.

I love how there is always a "but", an "if" and a "shall" in God's promises.

What else do I need than, "saith the Lord of Hosts"?

That's enough for me!

God's promises are my happy place. My most comforting thought. When all else fails, His promises will not!

Nothing, to me, is more wonderful, and comforting and hopeful!

Words are inadequate to describe how my heart feels when I think of God's promises. So grateful He lets us enter into SAFE covenants with Him.
