10 And Moses will I raise up, to deliver thy people out of the land of Egypt.

I never realized that Moses was prophesied of before he was born! This is Joseph of Egypt prophesying of Moses which would be born hundreds of years later to deliver Joseph's own descendants!


Did Moses know he was in scripture? When he got the scriptures, did he read about Joseph's (the Lord's) prophecy about him? What would that be like?!


The same thing is going to happen in a few verses when Joseph Smith translates and reads about himself being prophesied of by Joseph of Egypt! And his father. What must that have been like?


And I love how Lehi was telling his son, Joseph, about these other 3 Josephs, and that it was all written down and included in the small plates by Nephi - for us.
