2 Nephi 30:4

4 And then shall the remnant of our seed know concerning us, how that we came out from Jerusalem, and that they are descendants of the Jews.

How did I never realize before that since I "come through the lineage of Ephraim," than I am a descendant of the Jews!?


So, does that make me 'Jewish'?


What a privilege! I have always had a special respect for the Jewish people.


So, is all the 'house of Israel' Jewish?


Israel is Jacob and Jacob was a Jew was he not?


So, are all members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints- also Jews, either by blood or adoption?


I'm confident I am missing a LOT of understanding here. (Obviously.) I know I'm not Jewish by religion, culture or geography. But....if I'm a descendant of Joseph, who was from Jerusalem and therefore "Jewish", then...??????
