2 Nephi 31:16

16 And now, my beloved brethren, I know by this that unless a man shall endure to the end, in following the example of the Son of the living God, he cannot be saved.

I'm going to start focusing on how many times Nephi mentions Jesus Christ in the rest of these verses and what he wants us to know about Him.


My goal today is to constantly focus and refocus on Him.


I need His example and doctrine and His Atonement to help change my heart.


My goal is to think of the Son of the living God, ponder on how He would act and react in MY circumstances, and try to follow His example.


That seems like a good goal.


Even if (when) I fall very short, I believe I'll gain something in the trying. And if not, then I'll gain something from the desire to try.


Baby steps toward heaven can still get us there.
