13 O how great the plan of our God! For on the other hand, the paradise of God must deliver up the spirits of the righteous, and the grave deliver up the body of the righteous; and the spirit and the body is restored to itself again, and all men become incorruptible, and immortal, and they are living souls, having a perfect knowledge like unto us in the flesh, save it be that our knowledge shall be perfect.
To me, this is the best and most needed "on the other hand" ever recorded!
What will it be like to have perfect knowledge? And what impact would having a perfect knowledge have on our resistance to temptation? Would we still have a desire to succumb to sin or weakness sometimes? Or would we still have to work through those desires? I mean, we can know something is bad for us and still partake, so - maybe I just started to answer my own question. Maybe the impact of perfect knowledge on temptation is a solid foundation from which to make choices, but we must still choose which (Who's) enticements to bend our will to.
Still learning.
So much to learn.
