11 For behold, he hath blessed mine house, he hath blessed me, and my women, and my children, and my father and my kinsfolk; yea, even all my kindred hath he blessed, and the blessing of the Lord hath rested upon us according to the words which he spake.

So all his family was blessed by Alma. And soon, every one of them will reject them both.

I can't imagine how hard that must have been for Amulek. Even his wife, and kids.

Sometimes I can't decide if this book is a the most sad, or the most happy book ever.

(I'm going for most happy. For even in the devastating ending, there's a heaven full of Almas, Amuleks, Abinadis, Nephis, Moronis and Mormons.)

Because there's Christ - I can count it all happy.
