5 Nevertheless, after all this, I never have known much of the ways of the Lord, and his mysteries and marvelous power. I said I never had known much of these things; but behold, I mistake, for I have seen much of his mysteries and his marvelous power; yea, even in the preservation of the lives of this people.

When I see details like this about their speech, I can't help but wonder who recorded it and how?


How did they record every nuance of their words? Even when Amulek said, "Actually, I misspoke, what I meant to say was..." Who is writing so fast that they captured all of that?


Or was this written by Amulek prior to it? I kind of don't think so, it seems like more of a retelling but how do they remember, write, include, transcribe and later translate all the detailed nuances? I don't know. No idea. But I'm entirely grateful for it.
