2 And those priests were ordained after the order of his Son, in a manner that thereby the people might know in what manner to look forward to his Son for redemption.

I do understand his use of the word 'forward' here and love to think about their incredible faith in Jesus Christ and the power of His Atonement - 82 years before He was born and before He atoned for our (their) sins.

Was it harder to have faith in Christ then than it is now?

At least now we know He DID come and He DID complete the Atonement. Was it harder to believe, when it was still a future event and He hadn't lived and succeeded yet?

I wonder.
