Alma 13:23

23 And they are made known unto us in plain terms, that we may understand, that we cannot err; and this because of our being wanderers in a strange land; therefore, we are thus highly favored, for we have these glad tidings declared unto us in all parts of our vineyard.

I have been a "wanderer in a strange land" and also have received "glad tidings (of great joy).


I have been reading the verses surrounding this one and it is apparent that repentance, rest and glad tidings of great joy are tied together.


No wonder God wants us to repent so badly; to change our hearts and walk with Christ.


He ONLY wants us to be happy and enter into His rest.


His commandments are evidence of His love.
