15 But as to the people that were in the land of Ammonihah, they yet remained a hard-hearted and a stiffnecked people; and they repented not of their sins, ascribing all the power of Alma and Amulek to the devil; for they were of the profession of Nehor, and did not believe in the repentance of their sins.

How sad would it be to not believe in the repentance of your sins?

What are you then left with? Yourself, and just the best you can do for yourself. How depressing is that?!

How damming and awful to think that your greatest aspirations are entirely dependent on the management of yourself.

I can't imagine the hopelessness and despair that that must bring on the one hand, and the pride and false confidence on the other.

Without Jesus Christ, all we have is ourselves, and we honestly can't do much.

With Him, however, we can do, have and become everything.

I choose Him.
