18 Now as I said, Alma having seen all these things, therefore he took Amulek and came over to the land of Zarahemla, and took him to his own house, and did administer unto him in his tribulations, and strengthened him in the Lord.
Here is the verse I've been waiting for.
What was this walk 'home' like?
Did Amulek carry any of his previous possessions to his new home? Or did he leave everything and everyone behind?
Did he even have a change of clothes? (Where did they get clothes after they walked out of the prison?)
Were there many tears shed on this somber walk between these now close friends? Or did the joy in the success in Sidom and the deliverance from despair rest in their minds?
How long were they in Sidom?
And- the scene I always imagine as they walked through the door of Alma's house... "Honey? This is Amulek. He has had a rough time. Can you set another place for him?"
