20 And the king said: How knowest thou the thoughts of my heart? Thou mayest speak boldly, and tell me concerning these things; and also tell me by what power ye slew and smote off the arms of my brethren that scattered my flocks

I wonder if he was feeling a little more confident and comfortable knowing he was talking to a human?

I also love that he called the sheep scatterers "his brethren". The 'good guys' in the Book of Mormon always seems to do that. Enemies are not enemies, they are "brethren".

I need to take that beautiful truth to heart.
