12 And it came to pass that he arose, according to the words of Ammon; and as he arose, he stretched forth his hand unto the woman, and said: Blessed be the name of God, and blessed art thou.

Of course!..."He stretched forth his hand"! Why is this everywhere in the scriptures and what does it really mean?

It must be symbolic and (or significant) if it is recorded- engraved on metal plates- so many times and at such significant moments.

The only thing I've been able to think of is that it is symbolic of God's power.

A good thought to ponder today. Where do I need Him to stretch forth His hand in my life or the life of my loved ones?
