6 And the skins of the Lamanites were dark, according to the mark which was set upon their fathers, which was a curse upon them because of their transgression and their rebellion against their brethren, who consisted of Nephi, Jacob, and Joseph, and Sam, who were just and holy men.

Though I've learned that their dark skin was a sign of the curse, not the curse itself, still this verse sounds like it is? It makes me confused.

I'll talk to God about this hard and confusing question.

I've also learned that every time, so far, that I've brought a hard question to God- He answers it and I am not only at peace, but in awe that He would do so.

(And the answers are always so beautiful!)

Praying.
