Alma 4:15

15 And now it came to pass that Alma, having seen the afflictions of the humble followers of God, and the persecutions which were heaped upon them by the remainder of his people, and seeing all their inequality, began to be very sorrowful; nevertheless the Spirit of the Lord did not fail him.

I love this verse on so many levels!


Alma was discouraged and "very sorrowful" but "The spirit of the Lord did not fail him."!


I love that it;s okay (not a sin, or something we should feel guilty about as if its a lack of faith) to be "very sorrowful."


I love that the Lord's Spirit didn't fail him, even when he was at an emotional low.


God's doctrine and love are SO beautiful!
