31 Wo unto such an one, for he is not prepared, and the time is at hand that he must repent or he cannot be saved!

Reading this list of vices makes me wonder if all sin stems from pride. And isn't pride loving yourself above God and others? Which breaks the greatest two commandments.


So humility and submission, the opposite of pride, must be the root of repentance.


I suppose pride repels repentance and humility naturally attracts that desire and willingness to change.


I will pray today to notice more my need for humility, attract repentance, and find joy in submitting to God.
