27 And Alma tarried many days with Amulek before he began to preach unto the people.

I wonder why Mormon included this detail?


I imagine Alma teaching Amulek that whole time because as soon as they go out together, Amulek is going to teach just as beautifully and profoundly as Alma.


I also wonder how Amulek's family was accepting this new teaching at this point because before long, Amulek is completely rejected by all his family members. :(


Sometimes I wish I didn't know what's going to happen next.
