Jarom 1:9

9 And thus being prepared to meet the Lamanites, they did not prosper against us. But the word of the Lord was verified, which he spake unto our fathers, saying that: Inasmuch as ye will keep my commandments ye shall prosper in the land.

(From my last entry...) My question is answered. "Inasmuch as ye shall keep my commandments, ye shall prosper in the land."

So, yes, the Lord will always deliver, save, protect and prosper the faithful.

Some may die, but His people as a whole, will survive and thrive.

Today I will remember the phrase "prepared to meet their enemy" and ponder how I can be prepared to meet the enemy of the world.

Trusting in the promises of God is a comforting place to be.
