Mosiah 1:16

16 And moreover, he also gave him charge concerning the records which were engraven on the plates of brass; and also the plates of Nephi; and also, the sword of Laban, and the ball or director, which led our fathers through the wilderness, which was prepared by the hand of the Lord that thereby they might be led, every one according to the heed and diligence which they gave unto him.

What would it be like to see the plates, Liahona and the sword of Laban today?

Literally earthshaking.

I wonder if those things were slightly commonplace to those with easy access to them? Or was the Liahona, for instance, as wonderous to them as it would be to us? Did they shine it? Did they keep it in a special case? Did they let the kids hold it?

Soooo intense to ponder.

When I imagine it, it all seems real.

So glad I know that it IS all real.

Maybe one day, I'll get to see these things in person.

For now, I always have my imagination. :)
