9 Now Abinadi said unto him: I say unto you, I will not recall the words which I have spoken unto you concerning this people, for they are true; and that ye may know of their surety I have suffered myself that I have fallen into your hands.
What kind of courage is this?!
How much influence does faith in God have on courage?
If faith is the opposite of fear, then it must have the potential to 100% cover it.
Perhaps our allowance of it, or the degree of our willingness to release fear's hold, is the only thing needed to let faith replace the vacancy.
Or, is it more of a push of faith - into fear?
Is it better to release fear and let faith in, or push faith over the fear?
I wonder which one is most effective- or if they the same.
Maybe releasing fear- for faith- is faith!
So they both work as one and faith prevails no matter which direction we come at it.
I also wonder what "and that ye may know of their surety I have suffered myself that I have fallen into your hands" means?
I wish I could ask Abinadi.
(But I can ask God. Even better.)
