Mosiah 18:29

29 And this he said unto them, having been commanded of God; and they did walk uprightly before God, imparting to one another both temporally and spiritually according to their needs and their wants.

No way, I didn't realize, (or remember) that these brand-new converts were commanded to live the law of consecration. Makes me wonder if they made temple covenants.

How powerful must have been the Spirit that accompanied Abinadi's words as delivered by Alma to have such an impact on the people!

Am I, who have had a lifetime to learn and practice living the gospel, as ready and willing? If not, where is the hesitation, or a what lack we (I) yet?

I'll pray today to know where my heart is and how I can better prepare myself and be ready to live the law of Zion.
