39 And they did admonish their brethren; and they were also admonished, every one by the word of God, according to his sins, or to the sins which he had committed, being commanded of God to pray without ceasing, and to give thanks in all things.

"Being commanded of God to pray without ceasing, and to give thanks in all things." I love this commandment. And I believe if God knew that that commandment would bless their lives, then it will also bless mine.

I will obey that commandment today.

This will be the verse I cling to.

I also love that God told them to do this in the midst of their "suffering all manner of afflictions and being persecuted by all those who did not belong to the church of God." We are to pray and give thanks in all things. (For our blessing.)

SO ponderable and applicable.

As always.
