Mosiah 9:10

10 Yea, and I will suffer even until death, and I will not recall my words, and they shall stand as a testimony against you. And if ye slay me ye will shed innocent blood, and this shall also stand as a testimony against you at the last day.

So he had time to contemplate his death and suffering- yet he didn't let fear prevail!

He had 100% trust and faith in God- not to save him from physical death or torture, but 100% faith in God- period.

He didn't have faith in a desired outcome, only faith in Christ- no matter the outcome!

Unconditional faith in God.

Abinadi is a perfect example of faith, I wish I had more info on his testimony building experiences.

Maybe someday.

In the meantime, I'm treasuring what I do have.

And learning so much.
