8 And my prayer to God is concerning my brethren, that they may once again come to the knowledge of God, yea, the redemption of Christ; that they may once again be a delightsome people.

This is why I love Mormon so much, why he is the Book of Mormon prophet that inspires me the most, and why he's who I'm most anxious to meet someday.

Mormon is likely mortally wounded at this writing, or will be soon, yet his prayer and his pleading is for - "them". He prayed for his enemies who have killed his entire nation, his family and friends, and who are seeking to destroy him and his last living son, Moroni.

His prayer is for them!

He loves them!

So much!

He prays for THEM when he is experiencing horrific trials.

Even in war, he loves those he is compelled to fight against.

I can't wait to meet this prophet.

My favorite person in the whole book.
